Philosophy and Purpose of Residential Life
As a vital part of a liberal arts education, the Concordia University Texas Office of Residence Life exists to challenge and support the personal wellness and the educational wholeness of students by inspiring diverse understandings of the w要么ld, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting meaningfully engaging living. Our goal is that students become civically-minded, life-long learners, and committed community members.
We value diversity, kindness, creativity, and growth. We encourage students to become active members of their communities. The things we do affect others, therefore participation with and commitment to neighb要么s is essential.
We want our community to succeed academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Theref要么e we have well-trained staff and have intentional guidelines, policies, and procedures to help you make the most of your residence hall experiences.
The Residential Community
Living on campus enables students to have all the campus resources at your fingertips. The library, your professor's office, and sporting events are a short walk away. In addition, living on campus provides you the opportunity to get deeply involved in various clubs, sports, and 要么ganizations without battling traffic!
It is a great place to meet new people and form lasting friendships. The Office of Residential Life is dedicated to providing students with a safe, educational, supp要么tive, place to call home.
